Halleluja, he is rescued! After political maneuvers managed to remove the prisoner from the cross after a few hours and without having his legs broken, he is placed in the Joseph of Arimathea family buriel tomb. Waiting healers who have entered tomb by way of secret entrance bind his wounds and remove him and hide him until he is restored. Then he travels all over the place for several years spreading wisdom and finally dies of natural causes in India. O.K.?

Rich, From the research of James Deardorff entitled "Survival of the Crucifixion". There is a list under "Major Biblical problems and questions the TJ allows us to solve" and in the next to last question click on "traditions". Compelling information from many historic resources.
